Merlot, Estate 2017

Gold Medal, Critic's Challenge Wine Competition

A mixture of red and black cherry, spiced plum, with dried fig and hibiscus on the nose. A touch of raspberry with tamarind and vanilla on the palate. Elements of dried herbs such as oregano, bay, cardamom and cinnamon with a touch of eucalyptus. Complex, smooth and satisfying. Enjoy on its own, or try with eggplant parmesan and hard cheeses.

Cara Mia, Reserve 2017

A mix of dark and red cherry with raspberry and a hint of anise. Dried oregano with a note of wet leaves and red apple skin. A touch of blackberry with hints of vanilla and allspice. Firm acids and smooth tannins with a long finish; this wine would pair well with roasted lamb dishes or smoked meats. Decanting recommended.

Solis Zinfandel Estate Wine

A combination of red cherry and plum with blackberry, blueberry and raisins. A lovely dried herbal component on the palate, with raspberry leaf and pepper. A great combination of jammy and pepper, with wonderful smooth tannins and complexity. This wine stands well on its own or paired with barbecued red meats or burgers.

Our Rhone-style blend Baciami means “kiss me” in Italian.  It is bright deep red to purple in color and has aromas indicative of blueberry, strawberry jam, leather, juniper, bay leaf and maple syrup.  Well-balanced, soft, smooth and spicy on the palate it has a complexity of wonderful flavors including cooked strawberries, blueberries, orange peel and spices with a medium-length finish resembling maple and toasted oak.  Serve with lamb osso buco, smoked pork ribs, chicken adobo or sausage paella.

Dull dark rose to brick-like in color, this elegant Grenache opens with aromas of strawberry jam and rhubarb.  A tart mouthfeel and light body, it has initial flavors of cherries, strawberries and grape jam that lead to a subtle maple finish.  Serving suggestions include croque monsieur, pork belly rice bowl, spicy tuna roll, turkey meatballs and Jambalaya.

Deep, dark red to purple in appearance, our Syrah has hints of blueberry and cotton candy aromas with a bouquet likened to mocha, chocolate and brown sugar.  It has a rich, plump mouth feel and mild tannic structure, flavors of olallieberry and cherry with a chocolaty finish.  Serving suggestions:  Korean-style short ribs, smoked pulled pork sliders, beef & broccoli and smoked gouda.  Decanting recommended.

Gold Medal and Best of Class, Central Coast Wine Competition

Luscious dark red fruit with notes of dried herbs intermingled. Baked plum with a combination of smoked meat and pepper. Hints of dried leaves, mint and orange peel, with a touch of dust and rose petals; the complexity of this wine keeps enticing with each taste. Smooth tannins and a long finish, this wine is delicious on its own, or pair with Spanish chorizo, pasta con pesto, eggplant parmesan, grilled lamb chops with mint-yogurt sauce, or veal saltimbocca.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate 2017

Clear and deep ruby red, this estate Cabernet opens with aromas of dark cherry, plum and graphite with hints of cedar and oak.  Gripping tannins on the palate with flavors of dry currants, blackberry, prune and vanilla, it finishes with lingering flavors of toasted nuts, caramel and dark chocolate.  We suggest serving with steak covered in gorgonzola sauce, short rib raviolis, beef & barley soup, moussaka and hard, dry cheeses.

Seducente, Reserve 2016

This Super-Tuscan translated means “seductive”. It appears bright ruby red and opens with soft aromas of blackberry, strawberry, eucalyptus and a subtle herbaciousness. Mild and balanced acidity, it has flavors reminiscent of red plum and dark berry, leading to an addictive, dark-chocolaty finish. Serve with chicken mole, Texas-style ribs, pasta Bolognese, pan-seared filet mignon, and Cambozola cheese.

Chardonnay, Estate 2020

Clear, light gold in color our estate Chardonnay opens with aromas of peach, honeydew melon, citrus and mineral water with a hint of butterscotch.  Soft, round, rich and well-balanced on the palate it has entry flavors of cantaloupe and peach followed by notes of cashew, gardenias and citrus.  We suggest serving this wine cool with cashew chicken, macadamia-crusted seabass, crab stuffed salmon piccata, fried calamari, Thai food and fromage d’affinois cheese.

Fiano, Estate 2019

Double Gold Medal, Central Coast Wine Competition /Gold Medal, Critic's Challenge Wine Competition

The Fiano grape is indigenous to Southern Italy and produces this lovely, clean, refreshing varietal.  Bright and pale straw in color with a green hue, it opens with aromatic notes of peach, grapefruit, honey, and lees (yeast by-product) with a definite floral characteristic.  Mild acidity on the palate, it shows flavors reminiscent of peach, lemon, oro blanco grapefruit, and a rich, lingering honey-like finish.  Drink on its own, or pair with calamari steak, lemon chicken, fritto misto, fresh spring rolls, ceviche or Greek-style orzo.

Vino Roseo di Sangiovese 2020

A beautiful rosé produced primarily with Sangiovese grape.  Brilliant rose-gold in appearance this charming wine opens with aromas of nectarine, pink grapefruit and hints of green grass.  Initially sweet and soft on the palate, it has flavors of peach, apricot, rose petals that lead to a crisp citrusy finish.  Pair this wine with curry, vegetable kabobs, roast turkey sandwich, shrimp pineapple fried rice, jerk chicken and tacos pastor.

Port Lot #7

Our port is unfiltered with a dull brick color and powerful aromas of ripe cherry, chocolate, butterscotch and raisins.  This decadent dessert wine opens with gripping flavors of caramel, golden apple, vanilla and butterscotch leading to a long, lingering finish reminiscent of toasted nuts.  Pair with pecan pie, chocolate walnut brownies, roasted nuts, or even a sharp cheese like cave-aged blue.
