Red White Rosé Dessert

Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate 2014

Gold, New World International Wine Competition

Red Cherry dominates on the nose, with black plum, blackberry, and raspberry making an appearance as it opens up. A dried herbal note, with cardamom, cinnamon, a touch of anise, and a bit of hibiscus on the palate. Smooth and supple tannins with tons of complexity; this wine can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of food from hard cheeses to steak dinner. Decanting recommended.

Sangiovese, Estate 2014

Double Gold Medal, Best of Class of Region, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Baked plum with black cherry and a kiss of dried orange peel. Notes of cinnamon and clove with dried oregano and a mixture of italian herbs. A touch of earthiness adds character, and a bit of raisin shines through on the palate at the end. Enjoy with braised meat dishes.

Zinfandel, Estate 2013

Double Gold, Best of Class of Region, California State Fair Wine Competition

Our estate Zinfandel appears deep bright red. It has aromas reminiscent of strawberry jam and cedar. Initially soft and medium bodied on the palate, it opens with flavors of strawberries and black olive, leading to a crisp finish of red berries. We suggest serving this wine with cedar-plank salmon, tapenade, pulled pork, Alton Brown’s baby back ribs, sweet and sour pork, venison chili or a monte cristo sandwich.

Seducente, Reserve 2013

Gold Medal, Critics Challenge Wine Competition

Tasting Notes: This Super-Tuscan translated means “seductive”. It is a deep, dark red color with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, raspberry with a mild butterscotch bouquet. Gripping acidity on the palate with flavors of blackberry, leather, tobacco, rhubarb and a cedar-like finish. Serve with pork tenderloin with cherry reduction, pasta Bolognese, eggplant parmigiana, sundried tomato sausage or even a grilled octopus salad.

Merlot, Estate 2014

Gold Medal, New World International Wine Competition

Red fruits dominate in this luscious Merlot: Red cherry is undeniable with cranberry, floral, graphite and toasted marshmallow notes. A moderate acid level and smooth tannins make for great food pairings; we suggest osso buco with gremolata, tortas ahogadas, Trail Dust’s smoked brisket, North Carolina-style bbq pork shoulder, and dark chocolate covered cherries.

Cara Mia, Reserve 2013

Double Gold Medal, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

A combination of dark and red fruits on the nose, with red currant, cherry, and a slightly herbal raspberry note on the palate. Orange peel and spice with cinnamon and a touch of red apple skins and coriander. This wine has a great acid structure and balanced tannin, and would be delicious with roasted or grilled meats. Decanting recommended. 368 cases produced.

Baciami, Reserve 2013

Gold Medal, Best of Class, New World International Wine Competition

Savory red fruit and dried herbs dominate in this complex and well-balanced blend. Raspberry and cherry with elements of spiced plum, rose petals and a touch of vanilla. Smooth tannins and balanced acids make this a great wine to pair with food, or enjoy on its own. Every sip is a new adventure!

Chardonnay, Santa Clara Valley 2016

Light pale gold color; fresh aromas reminiscent of honey, banana chips, melon and peach. Soft yet balanced acidity, this chardonnay has entry flavors of nectarine and pink grapefruit leading to a crisp, clean finish. Serving suggestions: ceviche, calamari steak, grapefruit roasted chicken, and pan-fried pork chop over sautéed mustard greens.

Fiano, Estate 2017

The Fiano grape is indigenous to Southern Italy and produces this lovely, clean, refreshing varietal. Crystal clear and bright, our Fiano is a light gold color with green hues. Rich aromas resemble cottoncandy, pineapple, stonefruit, honey and grapefruit. The mouth feel is soft and rich with flavors of ripe golden apple, canned peaches, apricot and mango with an addictively supple finish. Serve with egg rolls, habanero salsa, grilled peach salad, pineapple fried rice, trout almondine, yellow curry, fish tacos, and mild cheeses.

Pair with turkey-cranberry sandwich, sushi, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, fruit and blue cheese.

Port Lot #6

Our port is unfiltered with a dull mahogany color and delightful aromas of sweet celery, coffee and mocha. This decadent dessert wine opens with flavors of mocha, dark chocolate covered raisins and butterscotch leading to a rich, creamy finish reminiscent of toasted nuts and would pair well with pecan pie, chocolate walnut brownies, crème brulee, or even a sharp cheese like cave-aged blue.
