Learn how to become a Backyard BBQ Hero and impress your friends and family with your BBQ knowledge and skills. In this class you will learn from two professional BBQ pitmasters all the basic skills you need to create flavorful BBQ and host successful backyard BBQ parties.
This class is ideal for those new to backyard BBQ as well as those who have already honed their skills but are looking to take their cooking to the next level.
Taught in an engaging and open format you will get to see hands on demonstrations of all stages of cooking from food prep through cooking and you will be able to sample the end product as we go along. The class size will be kept small (30 max) to ensure you are able to see everything and ask questions of the knowledgeable instructors.

In addition to sampling the items cooked in class, a special lunch featuring slow smoked Texas style BBQ beef brisket and Carolina style BBQ Pulled Pork will be served so you get to experience the full range of BBQ specialities. No one goes home hungry!

About the Pitmasters: Adam and Sherry Hollman of Gilroy, CA are the pitmasters behind the award winning Huminie’s Hogalicious BBQ professional competition BBQ team. HHBBQ was the 2011 California Rookie Team of the Year and they have multiple Reserve Grand Championships and a Grand Championship under their belts. In addition, in 2012 the team competed at The American Royal World Series of BBQ where they took 9th in Chicken, 11th in Ribs and tied for 5th overall in the world against 154 Grand Champion winning teams from around the world.
